  1. OK. This is style I haven’t seen before. Is Stephen wearing a sarong??!

  2. You can call it a sarong! But this is like the national dress code for our lil' international Kerala!! Its called Mundu or Lungi!
Next time we call, remind me to teach you the proper pronounciation! And I dont know which conference call this was ..one of the many ...

  3. Wow Shyla, some very old pictures you have there.

The Goa trip - the last one with Stephen, Aditya, Sangeeth and Varghese.

The Car with Flowers - Jaics Josephs tiny Morris, getting the floral overdose for the Cochin Flower Show. Shajin's Dad was the judge and our entry got the first prize. We drove that car in a floral motorcade all around the city to come in front of St Theresa's (womens) College and we stopped right in front of the college. All the students and nuns were standing in front. Each one of us - there was Jaics, Shajin, Stephen and myself all cramped up in that tiny automobile, we get out, pluck a flower from the car and each one of us go towards the girls but at the last minute we turn away from them and offer the flowers to the Nuns. What a hoot!!!! We won the First Prize and with the cash went to the fancy Casino Hotel and partied the night away.

The Kodaikanal picture, that's Joe Antony with OG and Stephen, I can't place the other guy.

The rally picture is Shajin the rider and Stephen the navigator for Scissors Action Rally 2nd leg flag off from Cochin.

  4. Giving the flowers to the nuns was very cute.
About you guys winning, hmm, rigged? Shajin's dad as the judge?! Be honest!

  5. It was rigged all right, but our car was the most beautiful one and which had the most work on it. There was not a square inch which didn't have a flower on the paint job.
